Sutraa is committed to maintaining a safe environment for all users. Our platform is designed exclusively for adults (18+), and we implement robust measures to prevent minors from accessing our dating services.

This Child Safety Standards Policy outlines our current approach to age verification, content monitoring, and protecting minors from potential harm.

Our Current Safety Measures

Age Restriction (18+)

Users must select an age of 18 or above during registration. The app automatically blocks users who indicate they are under 18.

Login with Gmail Only

All users must authenticate through Gmail login, which requires verified email addresses and helps prevent fake accounts.

Automated Content Monitoring

All photos are analyzed using Google Vision API and messages are screened using OpenAI Moderation API to detect inappropriate content.

Manual Moderation Team

All user reports are manually reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours, ensuring fair and accurate action against violations.

End-to-End Encryption

Most personal data and all messages are encrypted end-to-end. Even Sutraa staff cannot access your encrypted personal information.

Report & Block System

Easy-to-use reporting and blocking tools available through user profiles. Immediate action taken against violators.

Current Age Verification Process

Registration Requirements

  • Age Selection: Users must select their birth date during registration
  • Automatic Blocking: The app automatically prevents registration if the selected age is below 18
  • Gmail Authentication: Users must login through Gmail (no manual email verification required)
  • Profile Review: Our moderation team monitors new profiles for signs of underage users

Important Notice

If you attempt to register with an age below 18, you will not be able to create an account. This restriction is permanent and cannot be overridden.

Ongoing Monitoring

Our systems continuously monitor user behavior, profiles, and content for signs that may indicate underage users. Any suspicious activity triggers immediate investigation and potential account suspension.

How to Report Concerns

  1. Open any user profile from your matches or chat
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right corner
  3. Select "Report User" or "Block User"
  4. Choose the appropriate reason and confirm your action
  5. Our team reviews all reports within 24 hours

Manual Review Process

  • 24-Hour Response: All reports are personally reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours
  • Manual Analysis: Each reported user and content is manually analyzed for violations
  • Fair Assessment: Human reviewers ensure accurate and fair action against policy violations
  • Immediate Action: Violators are immediately blocked from the platform
  • Zero Tolerance: No tolerance for content or behavior that could harm minors
